Action Verbs
Believe it or not, the action verbs are the most important units of your resume. They represent the building blocks of any effective cover letter or CV. It is by their concrete and descriptive character that you can list your skills, past experience and accomplishments. They are meant to make your resume building task easier, and they are meant to help your resume be notices faster by employers.
There are certain rules of using the action verbs, as there are various types of such items. Never use non-descriptive verbs like "to do" or "to work", always start any descriptive paragraph with an action verb. You can find lists of action verbs in almost any resume dedicated book, or you can try our own active verbs list.
