Counter Proposal
The counter proposal is a technique often used by job seekers whenever they negotiate their salary package. It is applied when the employer's initial salary offer is not acceptable or way under the job seeker's expectations. In this case, the job seeker displays his requirements as an "adjustment" of the employer's first proposal. Almost all components of a job offer are negotiable, starting with the amount of money of the salary, the fringe benefits, moving expenses and many others. Whenever you want to make a counter proposal, have all these in mind, not just the money.
