Employment Gap

The term refers to those periods of time during which a job seeker is not employed either by own choice or by certain circumstances. These periods are also called gaps between jobs. It is very important that a job seeker does not gather too many gaps in employment, especially prolonged ones, because employers are not fond of seeing unexplained unemployment periods. In this regard, the job seeker has some strategies to cover up for the lack of activity and he has the possibility to reduce the impact these gaps may have on future job hunting significantly.
