Hi there,
I was wondering if this is to informal/short if I am looking for a job at the local pub...I'm looking for a part time.
"I am looking for any waitress job openings at the newly refurbished Anchor Inn, due to be opened in November 2007. Should there be any postings available, I would love to be able to forward my CV to you. Looking forward to hearing from you.
Kind Regards,
Courtney"
What do you think? |

Oh, no, you didn't do that!
This is not the way in which a letter of inquiry should appear! First, you have written it as if you addressed it to some friend of yours..."Hey , pal, should you have an opening, please let me know, here's my number". There are some rules of how to build a decent cover letter There you go!

Good luck now....was I late |

| That was funny and could have been a successful letter of inquiry if the people at the pub would have been open minded! |

| I don't deny you that, PP, but we're here to offer people the appropriate solution. I'm sure they would have done just fine otherwise, should they not ask for our opinion, right? |

That "any waitress job openings" sounded so desperate it wouldn't have helped courtney at all! |
