| So which one is more effective? Can an outstanding cover letter give me a stronger chance for an interview or a standard cover letter? I mean I've heard people saying a cover letter isn't even necessary, not to mention making one which is outstanding. Sure, I do believe in its utility though! |

Actually...the right answer should be AN OUTSTANDING STANDARD COVER LETTER And it's normal. Words can get you ANYTHING these days, but aberrations cannot, right?. So you need to place these "key"-words on a standard pattern. The employer would not get bored or disturbed by your new way of displaying your cover letter, but he would like the way you worded it. |

| The cover letter is way necessary and it should usually follow the pattern of Introduction, 3-4 content paragraphs and ending formulas. The way you choose to enumerate your arguments makes the difference between candidates using "standard" cover letters and those using "targeted" cover letter. |
