hi,
I'm a 17 yr old girl who lives in London. Although i am on holiday at the moment, i attend Garnet college. I really need help writing a cv and have never had a job, except for helping out in a primary school nursery. Also, i didn't do well in my GCSE's, only got good in English. I completed my education throughout secondary school and have just completed a course in art and design..btec first diploma level 2.
I am hardworking, polite, a good listener, helpful and i enjoy working with and meeting new people. I'm very creative and quite patient.
My real problem is my lack of experience. Also, my lack of qualification makes me worried about writing a resume or even applying for a job. Heeeelp?? |

Well, taking into account you're only 17, nobody really expects you to have outstanding experience in the field you want to work in. On the contrary, you should be in the period when you accumulate both information and experience, the first at a higher level. This is important now. Experience is build if you have a strong educational background.
I recommend you some specific courses if you want to work as a nurse. If you didn't do greatat school, you could go for the specialized education, ended in you obtaining a certificate.
Then...training and with training experience. Also, gain experience via voluntary work.
I really think you need a career plan. |
