Naru here
I'm a recent college grad with a degree in economic philosophy. I am generally looking for jobs connected to the finance/economic arena. I've found that most places are very interested in what my background with Excel is. Unfortunately, I never took any classes in college that used Excel nor do I have any work experience with it.
I realize that I need this skill on my resume so I was thinking of taking an Excel class through community college, or maybe a training course. However, I'm unsure what level of class to take or if this is even the best way of going about building my Excel skills (it is quite expensive). Can anyone help me out? Has everyone heard of online courses which are effective?
Thank you! |

| Please don't do a special course in order to learn Excel because the internet is full of excel tutorials, very comprehensive and easy to use. Besides, I've learnt it through constant exercise so you should start playing with the application, you'll see it's easy! |
