Hello,

I am Corinne and I'm looking for study abroad scholarships. I have found some interesting information on the net, but what I want to know about study abroad scholarships is tips on how to apply for the, what to be aware of (disadvantages especially), and other things like that.

This is an essential thing for my resume actually because I am studying to be a diplomat. So in order to have some kind of advantage I have to mention some kind of foreign related job experience. That's why I was thinking that studying abroad would be great Exclamation Mark on my CV.

Thank you for any reply Wink

If you want to become a diplomat, you are right when saying you should specify some experiences you have had abroad.
The thing with scholarships is the following. It's a long road, but very prolific if you ask me. Nevertheless you need determination. So here's how it goes:
- individual research on the internet, look for universities you want to study in
- study these universities' educational offer, see what profiles they have and what the perspectives of these programs are
- see what their requirements are: your current educational level, any special awards, appearances in newspapers
- build yourself a strong portfolio with all the things mentioed above, you need to show them who you are now and what you have achieved, all degrees, awards, participations, voluntary work, any relevant experience
- apply
- wait. In the meantime you should start gathering money for the other expenses, since you're aiming for the scholarship Wink

Hope that helped.
