Hello everybody!
I'm trying to decide what masters to pursue: in reading/literacy, in special education or a paralegal certificate. I'm concerned most about job perspectives, but I also want the job that I would most enjoy and in which I would be most efficient.
As I looked around, I've observed there are at least three special ed jobs to every job as a reading specialist. There certainly must be more special education teachers than reading specialists, but then, I haven't met any unemployed special ed teachers, I'm sure you didn't!
I also believe that there's plenty of work for a good paralegal as well, and I'm not sure that I would enjoy it. I'm not sure it would jive with my personal sense of purpose. Besides, my desired salary is around 35K. |

The answer to your question is YES, you can actually boost your career with an MBA degree, basically because you get access to better paid jobs. As far as the title of the MBA, it really depends on what exactly you want to pursue after. Check the study programmes and see what better fits your necessities.
